Trihydro Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kurt Tuggle as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective October 1, 2020.
Tuggle started his career with Trihydro in 1992 after completing a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Wyoming. Early in his career with the company, he worked on environmental and engineering projects as a field technician, construction manager, and junior engineer on project sites ranging from operating petroleum refineries to abandon industrial facilities. The breadth of responsibilities that Tuggle worked on in his early years greatly enhanced his understanding of how Trihydro operates as a business and the industries the company works.
For the last 28 years, Tuggle has served in roles of increasing levels of responsibility and has been a key member of Trihydro’s leadership team for the last 10 years, most recently as Chief Operations Officer. As a member of the leadership team, Tuggle has helped advance the company’s culture of excellence by building strong teams, developing employee focused programs, and driving operational efficiencies.
Tuggle steps into his new role as President and CEO as Jack Bedessem, who led the firm with distinction for 16 years, transitions into retirement. Bedessem will continue to support the company through client stewardship and continuing to serve on Trihydro’s Board of Directors.
Reflecting on his appointment, Tuggle said, “I do not intend to try to fill Jack’s size 12 cowboy boots, but I do look forward to continuing to engage with him as a close friend and a mentor who, I’m confident, will continue to provide advice and support to anyone in our organization who asks. I know that I speak for everyone at Trihydro in thanking Jack for his leadership and tireless dedication to the company. I am humbled to assume this new role and excited for the future of the company.” Tuggle continued, “Trihydro is the strongest we’ve ever been because of our dedicated, hardworking, and innovative staff, who come to work each day looking for ways to create value for our clients, coworkers, and communities. I look forward to building on the solid foundation and supporting our great team of people as we continue to grow and serve our clients and the communities where we work and live.”
