2018 Gingerbread Jamboree!

This weekend, a team of Trihydro employees gathered at Ivinson Memorial Hospital Foundation's Gingerbread Jamboree to eat cookies, drink hot chocolate, and engage in a friendly gingerbread decorating competition.

Kicking off the event with appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Clause, a cookie and hot chocolate bar, holiday card coloring, and the lighting of the Giving Tree; the event brought holiday cheer from around the community. One of the popular stops was the Play for Pediatrics games, in which kids played games to win gingerbread tokens, that were then turned in for $1 donations to Ivinson's Family Care Unit. The activity taught kids the importance of giving back during the holiday season.

This year, Ivinson's Foundation offered a couple ways for teams to "get their gingerbread on." Teams could choose to build gingerbread homes off-campus or participate in a live-action building competition. Trihydro’s two participating teams opted for the latter 20-minute, all-materials provided option, and collectively built a train. Trihydro's gingerbread caboose earned an honorable mention and second-place finish.

Partnered with their spouses, Trihydro's teams consisted of Jack Bedessem, President & Chief Executive Officer; Kurt Tuggle, Chief Operations Officer; and Business Unit Leaders Mark Donner and Gary Risse.
